Temporary/Conditional Licensure due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
(As set forth in Executive Order #2020-20 effective 4/3/2020)
If you were licensed by the NDSBRC and in good standing within the five (5) years preceding April 3, 2020, you may apply to temporarily re-instate your license during the time span of the COVID-19 state of emergency. Students of North Dakota State University Respiratory Therapy Program and University of Mary Respiratory Therapy Program may apply for a temporary/conditional license as well. NDSBRC office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST Monday through Friday. The office is closed from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for lunch and is also closed on State and Federal holidays.

Amended Administrative Rules effective July 1, 2018! The fees for initial licensure and renewal of licensure are now $80.00. Also, the Board has adopted the AARC’s 2015 Professional Conduct Statement as its code of ethics for respiratory therapists.
